And last year you went to the Garibaldi parking lot...err RV park early in the summer/late spring - even before the 4th. I still regret missing out on the train ride when we were there.

A two-day, one night trip in early August has morphed into four for me. I found a somewhat different geology field trip on Saturday so then I had to figure out something to do on Friday. While I was looking for something to fill in the extra day I ran across a tour I can't pass up. It's not until September. There are no visitor facilities at Rock Island or Chelan Dam so to get to see these places is phenomenal.

I have no idea how they define senior - they didn't ask my age. They also didn't ask if I was a senior in the Wenatchee area or a Chelan PUD customer.

Senior Tri-Dam Shuttle Bus Tour

The Senior Tri-Dam Tour is a free, day-long adventure for senior adults on a bus to see Rock Island and Rocky Reach dams and the Lake Chelan Dam powerhouse at Chelan Falls.
