You guys traveling to see the eclipse? Totality in Salem and the Oregon Coast. I'll be in Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountain National Park, solar binoculars and eclipse glasses in hand. Dusted off my old Canon with a 500 mm lens and a 3x teleconverter, and bought a solar filter. All that's still needed is good weather. Gayle and I are doing the cheap version, borrowing Bruce's car and going to McMinnville which is at the edge of the totality. Gayle said some places in OR are charging $2,000 for an overnight.
