Hi all -
Latest batch of stories are now up. Our featured author is Bruce Jividen, who added 5 stories to the Archive. Bruce also contributed his nifty section separator, which you'll start seeing elsewhere. Thanks Bruce!
It's a rather eclectic collection this time, with some stories where Paul and Scott don't even appear, two by our first totally anonymous author, one somewhat out of season, three featuring the fictional version of a real life character, and one crossover with ROSWELL with a trace of THE X-FILES. I'm honored to include a story by the late Ken McDaniel, a longtime STARMAN fan, and officer of The Robert Hays International Fan Club (TRHIFC) who would welcome each first time visitor to a Family Con with their very own silver sphere. I still cherish mine. Ken also started providing tapes of the episodes long before DVD's even came out. Sadly, we're going to have a Dead Authors Society section of the Archive, but I'm happy we can capture their legacy. In any event, here we go:
"But Who Would Stand For Me?" by A Nonymous, 1999, 2303 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/390500
3 years later, Paul and Scott return to visit Gus, the illiterate "Pearl Diver" whom Paul worked with at The Blue Dolphin Cafe. Paul had left him inspired to learn to read and write in Episode 22, "The Test". Did Gus ever make it? Did Lorraine Michaels, one of Scott's teachers who had agreed to help Gus, succeed, or was it a hopeless task? And what became of Bo Bradley, the red headed bully who so tormented Scott? Did he learn anything from the encounter?
"The Cuff" by A Nonymous, 1993, 1645 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/391989
To what lengths will a fan go to get Starman back on the air?
"Star Island: The Ambassador" by Bruce Jividen, 1987, 1967 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/391360
Scott and Paul do not appear, but possibly a Starman does. And definitely someone named Christopher Barnes.
"Star Island: "Have Starman, Will Travel" by Bruce Jividen, 1993, 1023 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/391385
Sequel to "The Ambassador" where Ambassador Barnes meets the aliens.
"The Reporter" by Bruce Jividen, 1995, 2064 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/386596
How did Paul's encounter with Liz Baynes change her life years later after the events in Episode 1, "The Return"?
"The Girlfriend" by Bruce Jividen, 1997, 3009 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/386601
Whatever happened to Kelly Jordan, Scott's girlfriend in "One For The Road" (Episode 7)?
"Folk Heroes" by Bruce Jividen, 1993, 1323 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/391352
Eager to put down some roots somewhere after months on the run, Scott protests his and Paul's wandering lifestyle in an unusual way and searches for his identity in a place that's also looking for its own.
"When is Christmas?" by desertgal, 1998, 1894 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/380826
Christmas is a feeling, not a date on the calendar. Several people realize that due to one young woman's exuberance.
"Mistaken Identities" by Ken McDaniel, 1991, 2928 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/392010
There have been a few sightings of the alien or his look alike over the years. Wylie is sent to a Beverly Hills theater to investigate an apparent sighting of the alien. Would someone who needs to stay low profile really star in a play? Wylie runs into an actor that could be his own clone and leaves the venue in a daze.
"Masquerade" by starborn_scribe, 2000, 36,889 words http://archiveofourown.org/works/390674
On December 6, 1999 Scott Hayden, the 27 year old son of the Starman and Jenny Hayden, arrived in Roswell tired, scared, and more than a little paranoid. He'd driven for three days after narrowly escaping capture in his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. The peaceful existence that Scott and his family had enjoyed for nine years had evaporated. Alone in Roswell, Scott needed a paycheck to live on while he waited for his parents to join him -- and for the nightmare to end. Of the classified ads in the local newspaper the temporary teaching position at the high school interested Scott. Little did he know how interesting his students would be.

I got the DVD last night and haven't gotten a chance to watch any of it yet. A little disappointed that there isn't any information inside the package. There are 5 discs but no legend. I have no idea which episodes are one each disc, but the pictures on the outside bring back so many happy memories.
