To anyone else considering buying the book "Starman-The Return" about Jenny after Starman leaves, save your money. Unfortunately, it's not well written at all. I was really hoping this might be a good one, but I couldn't even get passed the prologue (basically a recap of the last half of the movie). Annette
This book has been published illegally. The author has stolen the intellectual property of the creators of Starman. I¹m afraid I take a rather dim view of someone trying to make money out of theft.
I have found an email address for the licensing department at Sony, which now owns Colombia pictures and am notifying them. Hopefully, they will alert Amazon to breech of copyright and Amazon will take the book down. I tried to report it directly, but it requires the report to be from the copyright holder, which I am not.
Amazon will let you return an ebook to get your money back within a reasonable time (I think, 7 days). People may want to consider doing that.

Thank you for the information. I have returned the book to Amazon for a refund, you do have 7 days to return it. I intend to call Amazon to tell them why I returned it. I take a dim view of people who break the law, that includes copyright infringement.

Thank you for the info. Good thing, my replacement card from the bank hasn't arrived yet or would have bought one already. After the initial excitement died down, I did wonder about the rights. Hopefully, Amazon will look into this. Lorraine

I forgot to mention that I got a reply from Sony:
"Jane,
Thanks so much for your below alert. I have passed it on to the folks that deal with copyright infringement cases.
Kind regards, Sherri Beissner
