We have tried hard to keep pricing low over the years but we do have some pre-convention expenses to meet. For that reason we will try to work with a Graduated scale for the convention fees. If you prepay by July 31. you can lock in the 2016 Convention price.
*** $130 per person Through July 31, 2018
*** $140 through August 31, 2018,
*** $150 after and at the door.
*** $220 for two adult family members (^a couple or a parent with a child 18 yr./older or ^other adult relatives)
Through July 15, 2018
*** $230 through August 31, 2018,
*** $240 after 8/31/18 and at the door. *** “Teen” 13-17 years (with paying adult): $50 *** Kids 12:& under: FREE
Fees may be prorated for those attending only a portion of events, but, since our main expenses involve the Party the following fees will apply:
***Reunion Party Only (All day Saturday): $100 per adult; $170 per family pair; $40 per “Teen” (13-17yrs)
Through July 31, 2018 $110 ($50 teen) through August 31, 2018, $120 ($60 teen) after and at the door.
Unfortunately there will be no financial aid is available through the “In-Your-Pocket” Fund (started by the Hays family in 1993) this year, which allows some people to pay certain expenses at a later date, interest-free (cannot cover hotel or transportation). There are simply no funds to subsidize anyone this year.
There are a few people who attended but have not paid for the 2016 convention. Vicki is going to get me a list and I will be contacting them to work out some kind of repayment if they wish to attend this year.
In lieu of the IYPF, we will make available a payment plan or credit card payments, via square or paypal or if you wish a check. You can have the option of initiating payments by the July 15th deadline to lock in your earlybird rate and make 3 payments in July, August, and September.
I will need an email, method preference and you will be invoiced via paypal or square or given an address to send payments..

HOTEL: We will be back at the Aloft El Segundo
There are rooms at the Fairfield Inn (main bldg. of old Hacienda Hotel) available at $149/night and the Aloft (South Tower of old HH) ---which is next door and where the Con Suite and Party will be--- at $159/night, for king single or two queen beds. The Aloft does not own any roll away beds so that it not an option. Please also note that The Aloft is holding its 2016 price for our rooms.
A word to those who smartly shop around, Certainly, you're free to stay somewhere else, but do compute your travel back-and-forth and your convenience when deciding. Also PLEASE do let me know if you'll be lodging elsewhere, so I block just the number of rooms we need. We'll pay a penalty for not filling all the rooms I save in a block.
For these reasons, I'd greatly appreciate a Really Quick Note with the following info. This is NOT a commitment here, but I'm worried I won't block enough rooms.
YOU CAN'T MAKE RESERVATIONS YET, so I will keep a running list, which will serve as your Place-holding Pre-Reservation.
