Im very saddened by Anne Maries passing. She was one of the very first fans to attend a Starman gathering, and later contributed a number of her early Family Con photos to the STARMAN Family Con Archive on Snapfish. We corresponded on and off, and I got to know her a bit. She loved to send specially prepared birthday cards to one and all. Warm, friendly, and nice person, the quintessential STARMAN fan who clearly lived her life in Starmans spirit, and will always be a part of us.
Blue Lights, Anne Marie.

Dear family and friends of Annemarie,
Some of you may have already heard, but my grandmother Annemarie has passed away this morning (1/18/13). She had a brief battle with pneumonia and passed away peacefully at the hospital with Pete, Irene, and my sister Tina by her side.
As you all know, she was a very special person and will live on in my heart and memories for the rest of my days. She was very close to me and helped to form my character with a sense of adventure, a positive outlook, curiosity, openness, and a thirst for knowledge. She has a wide web of family and good friends around the world, and I have included everyone on this E-mail who seem pertinent, compiling addresses from E-mails that she distributed to her family and friends with New Years wishes, among other E-mails. Please forward this along as you see fit.
She would not have wanted for us to make a big fuss about her passing, we believe. Information about gathering in the spring to celebrate her life will be forthcoming.
The picture I have included was taken during a visit we had on 12/23/12 with my wife, kids, and her. She was in fair health and strong mind, and we had an excellent visit. Apologies for the size of the two smaller pics - one is of her at her book signing with my sister.
Wishing you peace and happiness.
Love, Tim Schomaker
